Community Response Fund Donate In response to the COVID19’s impact on regional nonprofits, the Greater Mankato Area United Way and Mankato Area Foundation have come together to create a Community Response Fund to assist in their joint efforts to address emerging needs in our region. imagineOne Fund Donate The mission of imagineOne is to promote literacy and to foster early childhood education to prepare each child for a future of academic success. The goal of this program is to give all preschool age children in the Mankato area a FREE 24-volume set of My First Steps to Reading, a book series published by The Child’s World and written by award winning author Jane Belk Moncure. My First Steps to Reading is proven to be a successful means of preparing preschool age children for kindergarten and supporting parents in teaching their children about words, language, and reading.
Jonathan Zierdt Cancer Fund Donate Established in 2017, the Jonathan Zierdt Cancer Fund focuses on building community cancer awareness and support through their Caring Box program and collaboration with organizations that provide important information, resources, and services to area cancer patients, their families, and caregivers.
Women's Giving Circle Donate Open to anyone, the Women’s Giving Circle (WGC) was established to amplify the power of collective giving by bringing women together. The WGC meets quarterly to distribute grants to projects and programs that improve the lives of women and children through the Greater Mankato area.
